It's official...I'm a blogger! I'm acutely aware that along with that comes great responsibility...to NOT bore my readers half to death! The fact that whatever I post will float around in Cyberland forever is also a little intimidating. Clearly I have some anxiety about putting my life and art out there for people to judge…um, I mean ENJOY! (I’m still working on changing my negative thoughts to positive ones!) In spite of all my fears, I’m here ready to share my ideas for jewelry, scrapbooking, mixed-media art, recipes, decorating, and whatever else I happen upon. I'll also be sharing about my family and life in general along the way.
For the past year, I have been on a journey of self-discovery, battling with anxiety and fears, and overcoming life-long low self-esteem and insecurities. I’m learning to live in the present moment and to ignore the rest. This blog is a part of my journey. The decision to share my thoughts and challenges with the world may be the motivation I need to keep moving forward. I pray that I will touch a few lives along the way, and maybe help others through their own challenges. I’m not completely sure where I’m going, but I’m SO glad you’re along for the ride!
